Standing pebble tiles are made from small exotic Indonesian pebbles which are carefully set on end then stacked one on top of the other to form a wall of pebbles.  This look is great for bathrooms, spa areas and as a backdrop or even part of a fountain in a large entry way.  Many homeowners use the standing pebble tiles as walls for showers or half walls for surrounding a sunken tub.

Standing pebble tiles have been presented on many home-improvement and do-it-yourself television programs in addition to being featured in many home furnishing and remodeling magazines.  However you do not have to be wealthy to use standing pebble tiles in your home, the dramatic effect and the natural feel they give to any room will be worth the expense.
